Big Bang’s leader G-Dragon has been cleared of all charges regarding child protection laws and performing banned songs at his concert.
On the 15th, it was judged that although the individual songs Korean Dream, She’s Gone were banned and the album Heartbreaker given a 19+ rating, this did not ban his concert itself so his performances didn’t break any laws.
The ‘bed performance’ which was brought up for ‘sexual publicity’ issues was also judged to be a part of the performance to express the song better on stage.
However, YG Entertainment was fined 3 million won ($2,700 USD) for the breach of concert laws. But because G-Dragon was considered to be only a participant of the event, he was exempt from any fines.
